Flyers Ice Hockey Club  returned to the ice for training on Tuesday 4th of May. Following a  review of the last few training attendances it has been decided that the Flyers will finish up for the Summer on Tuesday 25th of May and will return at the end of July in preparation for the 2010/11 season. It is also envisaged that if there is a Summer League, organised by Dundalk Ice Dome, that players from the "Flyers" may put a team together and participate. The Executive and Coach of the Flyers met with the Executive of the IIHA on the 22nd of April and discussed the season past and ongoing issues of concern to the club. Flyers Ice Hockey Club have given the IIHA assurances that the team will fully support the IIHA in the development of Ice Hockey in Ireland.  

Following  a commitment from the entire Executive of the IIHA that they intend to address our concerns, the team await confirmation from the IIHA as to the structure of the 2010/11 A League and will issue a statement without delay.
